Actually, K was for Koala Bears and Kangaroos... more specifically. We learned all about how these animals have special pouches for carrying their babies, how Kangaroos can jump really fast and Koalas only eat a certain kind of leaf (eucalyptus).
As usual, there was plenty of random, non marsupial activity going on too; like, being a robot.
And talking on wooden-block-telephones.
Working on our fine-motor skills.
And making paper crowns.
K week came at the beginning of rainy season, so we had some extra indoor time. I think it's safe to say that we are fostering a healthy love for reading in our kids.
As our number of students continues to grow, we have less and less time for taking pictures. We are now nearing the end of the Alphabet with "U is for Universe". There is a giant rocket-ship in the common room and massive planets on the walls. We are doing our best to catch this blog up to real-time, so stay tuned! And apologies in advance for the few weeks that we were not able to capture in photos.
