illumiNation is an International Preschool and Daycare for toddlers and children ages 2-5. We are located in Cabean, Salatiga; just a two-minute walk from Mountain View and IMLAK Language School.
All of our curriculum is in American English and daily activities are based on American Preschool Standards. The school is run and co-owned by an American mother of a preschooler. Our daily activities include, Circle Time, which provides the children with the opportunity to interact with each other as a group. During this time, we will learn from the Bible, read stories, learn specific skills, sing songs, play games and learn about each other.
We will also review the Letter, Color, Number and Star of the Week during circle time. The focus of each week is based on certain theme.
The themes of each week are expressed through time creating Arts and Crafts, Activity Stations, Scavenger Hunts, Skill Development and Sensory Games. Children can choose to get involved by wearing an article of clothing that corresponds to the color of the week each Friday. Other ways to play along at home and school will be outlined in the monthly newsletter.
illumiNation provides a clean, safe, healthy environment where every child can learn and grow to their full potential. We are committed to providing love, security and an unbeatable quality of education for all children. illumiNation encourages learning and growth through play in an environment designed so that children may strengthen muscles, build coordination, stretch their imaginations, and have fun.
We believe that children should be challenged to grow at their own pace and to learn in ways that help them become confident in themselves as learners. Our goal is to provide opportunities and resources to help your child reach far beyond the stars.
At illimiNation, we have a Zero Tolerance For Bullying Policy. Respect toward self, others and the environment is non-negotiable.
We understand the value of both structured and non-structured activities. Structured activities will include the use of a preschool curriculum, regular reading times, circle times, arts and crafts, and musical activities. Outdoor play and free times are some of the more flexible activities we have. We strive to cultivate your child’s natural desire to learn through meaningful, appropriate, and playful learning experience that meet each child’s individual needs.

There is plenty of free time for children to get their energy out and play freely in our spacious garden location, complete with a covered sand box, playhouse, kitchenette, sidewalk chalk and loads of toys and books.
We structure the children's time based on age and individual desire to learn. Preschoolers will be taught to read and write all their letters and numbers, memorize the days and months of the year, what different animals eat and where they live, how to take care of a strawberry plant, and so many more exciting life skills. With the help and cooperation of the parents, we guarantee full competence by the time they are ready to enter Kindergarden.
Operating Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
(We accept children of IMLAK students at 7:45am)
Note: We do not have an afternoon session available just yet. We are considering opening one for the second semester. Let us know what your needs/thoughts are concerning an afternoon session.
